Jennifer Lash - The Burial
In "The Burial," Miss Jennifer
Lash takes Dilla, her heroine, through an unhappy childhood, to her marriage
and beyond, but Dilla is always looking back over her shoulder to the days
when she was very young. Miss Lash uses (sometimes successfully,
sometimes less so) the stream-of-consciousness technique; at times Dilla
resembles Mrs. Dalloway, mimia.
