A Review for The Daily Telegraph
4 August 1961
OF "The Burial," by Jennifer Lash, there is regrettably room
to say no more than that in an exquisitely delicate style, it tells the
story of the vulnerable girl whose childhood was unhappy and whose marriage
fails to release her from the almost evil spell under which she has struggled.
A talent is also heard crying for means of adequate expression.
