At summer's end, there will be more major star power doing Shakespeare when Ralph Fiennes stars at BAM in the Almeida Theatre Company's production of "Richard II" and "Coriolanus," directed by Jonathan Kent, from Sept. 6 to Oct. 1. This is the same company that previously brought to Broadway Diana Rigg in "Medea" and Fiennes in "Hamlet," which won him a Tony Award. "Richard II" deals with the rise and fall of a young and willful Plantagenet and "Coriolanus" with the political fortunes of a legendary Roman warrior a century or so before "Gladiator's" Maximus quelled the barbarian hordes.
