Coriolanus

Dir: Jonathan Kent
Starring: Ralph Fiennes

The largely favourable reviews of his Richard II must have upped
Ralph Fiennes's confidence, as he prepares for his second heavyweight Shakespearean role for the Almeida at Gainsborough Studios. Linus Roache, who plays Bolingbroke to Fiennes's Richard, will here play Aufidius, Coriolanus's sometime rival, ally and nemesis. Jonathan Kent directs. London audiences will be able to see both plays on Saturdays before Kent's two productions depart for New York and Tokyo: net-heads can also take a virtual stroll around Gainsborough
Studios at www.greenroom.co.uk.
